In October 2008, my sister and her friend celebrated birthday milestones (30 and 50, respectively) by planning a trip to Morocco, focusing on rock climbing and hiking the Atlas mountains. Being the crazy country Morocco is, having a third person along was a good idea, so I came along for the fun.

Our trip was 10 days long, with the prime attraction being three days spent in Todra Gorge, a North African rock climbing mecca of sorts.
